حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ تُوشِكُونَ أَنْ يَمْلَأَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أَيْدِيَكُمْ مِنْ الْعُجْمِ وَقَالَ عَفَّانُ مَرَّةً مِنْ الْأَعَاجِمِ ثُمَّ يَكُونُوا أُسْدًا لَا يَفِرُّونَ يَقْتُلُونَ مُقَاتِلَتَكُمْ وَيَأْكُلُونَ فَيْئَكُمْ.
English Translation
Affan told us, Hammad ibn Salamah told us, Yunus informed us, from al-Hasan, from Samurah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: You are about to have your hands filled by Allah, Blessed and Exalted, with the non-Arabs — and Affan once said 'the foreigners' — then they will become like lions who do not flee, killing your fighters and consuming your spoils.
