حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ زَيْدٍ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ بِسَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَهَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ubayd told us, Mis'ar told us, from Ma'bad ibn Khalid, from Zayd, from Samurah ibn Jundub, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to recite in the Friday prayer 'Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High' and 'Has there come to you the account of the overwhelming event.'
