حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ وَجَدَ مَتَاعَهُ عِنْدَ مُفْلِسٍ بِعَيْنِهِ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ.
English Translation
Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Umar ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Qatada narrated to us, from al-Hasan, from Samura, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: "Whoever finds his property, intact, in the possession of a bankrupt person has more right to it."
