English Translation
Yazid narrated to us, Bahz ibn Hakim informed us, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: I said, "O Prophet of Allah, our wives - what may we do with them and what must we avoid?" He said, "Your tilth; come to your tilth however you wish, except that you must not strike the face, nor revile her, nor forsake her except within the house, and feed her when you eat, and clothe her when you clothe yourself. How could it be otherwise, when you have had intimate access to one another, except regarding what is lawful concerning her?"
