English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, Shu'bah told us, from Ali ibn Zayd, who said: I heard Abu Nadrah say: Imran ibn Husayn passed by our mosque, and I stood up to him and took hold of his bridle, and asked him about prayer while traveling. He said: "We went out with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, for Hajj, and he prayed two rak'ahs until he passed away; and Abu Bakr, two rak'ahs until he passed away; and Umar, two rak'ahs until he passed away; and Uthman, for six or eight years, then he completed the prayer at Mina to four rak'ahs."
