حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ تَمَتَّعْنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمْ يَنْهَنَا عَنْهَا وَلَمْ يَنْزِلْ فِيهَا نَهْيٌ.
English Translation
Affan told us, Hammad told us, Humayd informed us, from al-Hasan, from Imran ibn Husayn, who said: "We performed tamattu' in the time of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he did not forbid it to us, nor did any prohibition come down concerning it."
