English Translation
Yahya ibn Said narrated to us, from Husayn al-Muallim, Abdullah ibn Buraydah narrated to us, from Imran ibn Husayn, who asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) about a man praying while sitting. He said: 'Whoever prays standing, that is better. The prayer of a man sitting is half the reward of his prayer standing, and his prayer lying down is half the reward of his prayer sitting.'
