English Translation
Abd al-Wahhab al-Khaffaf narrated to us, from Said, from Husayn al-Muallim — he said: I also heard it from Husayn — from Abdullah ibn Buraydah, from Imran ibn Husayn, who said: I was a man with many ailments, so I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) about praying while sitting. He said: 'Your prayer while sitting is half the reward of your prayer while standing, and the prayer of a man lying down is half the reward of his prayer while sitting.'
