حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي عُمَرَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ كَانَ يُنْقَعُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الزَّبِيبُ قَالَ فَيَشْرَبُهُ الْيَوْمَ وَالْغَدَ وَبَعْدَ الْغَدِ إِلَى مَسَاءِ الثَّالِثَةِ ثُمَّ يُؤْمَرُ بِهِ فَيُسْقَى أَوْ يُهَرَاقُ.
English Translation
Raisins used to be soaked for the Prophet (peace be upon him). He would drink it that day, the next day, and the day after until the evening of the third day. Then it would be given to someone else to drink or poured out.
