حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ قِيلَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ فُلَانًا لَا يُفْطِرُ نَهَارَ الدَّهْرِ قَالَ لَا أَفْطَرَ وَلَا صَامَ.
English Translation
Ismail narrated to us, al-Jurayri informed us, from Abu al-Ala ibn al-Shikhkhir, from Mutarrif, from Imran ibn Husayn, who said: It was said to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him): 'So-and-so does not break his fast for the entire year.' He said: 'He has neither truly broken fast nor truly fasted.'
