حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَن سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَن أَبِيهِ عَن جَدِّهِ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ أُمَّتِي أُمَّةٌ مَرْحُومَةٌ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ إِلَّا عَذَابُهَا فِي الدُّنْيَا الْقَتْلُ وَالْبَلَاءُ وَالزَّلَازِلُ.
English Translation
Yazid told us: al-Mas'udi informed us, from Sa'id ibn Abi Burdah, from his father, from his grandfather Abu Musa, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "My community is a community shown mercy; it has no punishment in the Hereafter except that its punishment is in this world: killing, tribulation, and earthquakes."
