حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ مُعَاذًا وَأَبَا مُوسَى إِلَى الْيَمَنِ فَأَمَرَهُمَا أَنْ يُعَلِّمَا النَّاسَ الْقُرْآنَ.
English Translation
Abdullah b. Numayr narrated to us, from Talha b. Yahya, who said: Abu Burda informed me, from Abu Musa: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent Mu'adh and Abu Musa to Yemen, and commanded them both to teach the people the Qur'an.
