حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ يَعْقُوبَ بْنَ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ الشَّرِيدَ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ لَأَفَضْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَمَا مَسَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ الْأَرْضَ حَتَّى أَتَى جَمْعًا وَقَالَ مَرَّةً لَوَقَفْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِعَرَفَاتٍ فَمَا مَسَّتْ قَالَ أَبِي حَيْثُ قَالَ رَوْحٌ وَقَفْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمْلَاهُ مِنْ كِتَابِهِ.
English Translation
Rawh narrated to us: Zakariyya b. Ishaq narrated to us: Ibrahim b. Maysara informed us that he heard Ya'qub b. Asim b. Urwah say: I heard al-Sharid say: I bear witness that I moved on with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and his feet did not touch the ground until he reached Jam'. And he said once: I stood with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, at Arafat, and his feet did not touch (the ground). My father said: where Rawh said "I stood with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him," he dictated it from his book.
