حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ هُوَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَاجِبُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُهَلَّبِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ قَارِبُوا بَيْنَ أَبْنَائِكُمْ يَعْنِي سَوُّوا بَيْنَهُمْ.
English Translation
Abd Allah ibn Umar — he is al-Qawariri — narrated to us: Hammad, meaning Ibn Zayd, narrated to us: Hajib ibn al-Mufaddal, meaning Ibn al-Muhallab, narrated to us, from his father, from al-Nu’man ibn Bashir, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Treat your children alike," meaning, "make them equal among yourselves."
