English Translation
Mansur ibn Abi Muzahim told us: Abu Waki' al-Jarrah ibn Malih told us, from Abu Abd al-Rahman, from al-Sha'bi, from al-Nu'man ibn Bashir, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said upon the pulpit: Whoever does not thank people for a little will not thank them for much, and whoever does not thank people has not thanked Allah, Mighty and Majestic. Speaking of Allah's blessing is gratitude, and abandoning it is disbelief. Unity is mercy, and division is punishment.
