حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي كُرَيْبٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَمَّا صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْ الْفَجْرِ اضْطَجَعَ حَتَّى نَفَخَ فَكُنَّا نَقُولُ لِعَمْرٍو إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ تَنَامُ عَيْنَايَ وَلَا يَنَامُ قَلْبِي.
English Translation
When the Prophet (peace be upon him) prayed the two rak'ahs of Fajr, he lay down until he snored. We used to say to 'Amr that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "My eyes sleep but my heart does not sleep."
