حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُجَالِدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا جَاءَكُمْ الْمُصَدِّقُ فَلَا يُفَارِقُكُمْ إِلَّا عَنْ رِضًا.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Yazid al-Wasiti told us: al-Mujalid ibn Sa'id informed us, from al-Sha'bi, from Jarir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "When the zakat-collector comes to you, let him not leave you except while pleased."
