حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَوْلَى الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ وَابْنُ أُخْتِهِمْ مِنْهُمْ وَحَلِيفُهُمْ مِنْهُمْ.
English Translation
Waki' told us, from Sufyan, from Ibn Khuthaym, from Isma'il bin Ubayd bin Rifa'ah, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The freedman of a people is one of them; the son of their sister is one of them; and their ally is one of them."
