حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ مِنْ كِتَابِهِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي ثَوْرٍ وَقَالَ إِسْحَاقُ الْفَهْمِيُّ قَالَ كُنَّا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا فَأُتِيَ بِثَوْبٍ مِنْ ثِيَابِ الْمَعَافِرِ فَقَالَ أَبُو سُفْيَانَ لَعَنَ اللَّهُ هَذَا الثَّوْبَ وَلَعَنَ مَنْ يَعْمَلُ لَهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَلْعَنْهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُمْ قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ مَنْ يَعْمَلُهُ.
English Translation
Abu Zakariyya Yahya ibn Ishaq told us, from his book: Ibn Lahi'ah informed us - and Ishaq ibn 'Isa told us: Ibn Lahi'ah told us, from Yazid ibn 'Amr, from Abu Thawr - and Ishaq al-Fahmi said, he said: We were with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, one day, and a garment of Ma'afir cloth was brought. Abu Sufyan said, May Allah curse this garment and curse the one who made it. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Do not curse them, for they are from me and I am from them. Ishaq said: And may Allah curse the one who makes it.
