حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَن مِسْعَرٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ عَن عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَن الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِشَاءِ قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ بِالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ.
English Translation
Waki' told us, from Mis'ar, and Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd told us: Mis'ar told us, from 'Adiyy ibn Thabit, from al-Bara', who said: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, recite in the night prayer - Muhammad said: By the fig and the olive.
