حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَبَهْزٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَن عَدِيٍّ قَالَ بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَدِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ وَقَالَ بَهْزٌ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَصَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ الْآخِرَةَ فَقَرَأَ بِإِحْدَى الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ بِالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far and Bahz told us, they said, Shu'bah told us, from Adi - Bahz said: Adi ibn Thabit told us - who said: I heard al-Bara' - and Bahz said, "from al-Bara' ibn Azib" - say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was on a journey, and he prayed the last night prayer (Isha), and recited in one of the two rak'ahs "By the fig and the olive."
