English Translation
Waki' told us, al-A'mash told us, from Talhah ibn Musarrif, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Awsajah, from al-Bara' ibn Azib, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever gives someone a gift of silver, or a gift of milk, or guides someone along a path, it is for him like freeing a slave" - and he said another time: "like the manumission of a slave."
