حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ عَن عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَن الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ قَرَأَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْعِشَاءِ وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ فَلَمْ أَسْمَعْ أَحْسَنَ صَوْتًا وَلَا أَحْسَنَ صَلَاةً مِنْهُ.
English Translation
Yahya bin Adam narrated to us: Mis'ar narrated to us, from 'Adi bin Thabit, from al-Bara' bin 'Azib, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, recited 'By the fig and the olive' (Surah At-Tin) in the Isha prayer, and I never heard anyone with a more beautiful voice or a more beautiful prayer than his.
