English Translation
Waki' told us: Mis'ar told us, from Thabit ibn Ubayd, from Yazid ibn al-Bara' ibn Azib, from al-Bara' ibn Azib, who said: When we prayed behind the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, we loved—or he loved—to stand on his right side. He said: And I heard him say, "My Lord, protect me from Your punishment on the day You resurrect"—or "gather"—"Your servants." Abu Nu'aym told us this with his chain and meaning, except that he said, "Thabit, from Ibn al-Bara', from al-Bara'."
