حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ كَرَجُلٍ وَاحِدٍ إِذَا اشْتَكَى رَأْسُهُ تَدَاعَى لَهُ سَائِرُ الْجَسَدِ بِالْحُمَّى وَالسَّهَرِ.
English Translation
Waki' told us: al-A'mash told us, from al-Sha'bi, from al-Nu'man b. Bashir, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The believers are like a single man: if his head complains, the rest of the body responds to it with fever and sleeplessness."
