English Translation
Abu Ayyub al-Ansari reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'It is not permissible for a man to shun his brother for more than three nights. They meet, and each one turns away from the other. The better of the two is the one who initiates the greeting of salam.'
