حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي مُشَاشٌ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ضَعَفَةَ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ أَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يَتَعَجَّلُوا مِنْ جَمْعٍ بِلَيْلٍ.
English Translation
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'The most truthful word a poet ever spoke was the word of Labid: Indeed, everything besides Allah is false.'
