حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرُ بْنُ شَهْرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ خُذُوا مِنْ قَوْلِ قُرَيْشٍ وَدَعُوا فِعْلَهُمْ.
English Translation
Abdur-Razzaq narrated to us: Ibn Uyaynah narrated to us, from Mujalid, from al-Sha'bi, who said: Amir ibn Shahr narrated to us: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Take from the speech of Quraysh but leave their conduct.
