English Translation
Aswad ibn Amir and Ibrahim ibn Abi al-Abbas narrated to us, both saying: Sharik narrated to us, from Simak, from Muhammad ibn Hatib, who said: I drew near a cooking pot of ours and my hand was burned - Ibrahim said, or he said: and it swelled - he said: So my mother took me to a man, and he began speaking words I do not know, and he began to spit lightly (blowing with a bit of saliva). I asked my mother, during the caliphate of Uthman, who the man was, and she said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.
