English Translation
Hashim ibn al-Qasim told us, Abd al-Aziz — that is, ibn Abi Salamah — told us, Sa'd ibn Ibrahim told us, from Nafi' ibn Jubayr, from Urwah ibn al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah, from his father al-Mughirah, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, went to attend to some need, then came back, and I poured water over him. He washed his face, then went to wash his forearms, but the sleeve of the cloak was too tight for them, so he brought them out from under the cloak and washed them, then wiped over his leather socks.
