حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا ثَوْرٌ عَنْ رَجَاءِ بْنِ حَيْوَةَ عَنْ كَاتِبِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ فَمَسَحَ أَسْفَلَ الْخُفِّ وَأَعْلَاهُ.
English Translation
Al-Walid ibn Muslim told us, Thawr told us, from Raja' ibn Haywah, from the scribe of al-Mughirah, from al-Mughirah, that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, performed ablution and wiped both the bottom and top of the leather sock.
