English Translation

Abu Mu'awiyah told us, al-A'mash told us, from Muslim, from Masruq, from al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah, who said: I was with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, on a journey. He said to me, "O Mughirah, take the water-skin." He said: So I took it, and then I went along with him until he was hidden from me, and he relieved himself, then came wearing a Syrian cloak with tight sleeves. He went to bring his hands out of it, but it was too tight, so he brought his hands out from under the cloak. I poured water for him, and he performed the ablution he performs for prayer, then wiped over his leather socks, then prayed.
