English Translation
Ishaq ibn Sulayman al-Razi told us, Mughirah ibn Muslim informed me from Matar al-Warraq from Ibn Sirin from Ka'b ibn 'Ujrah who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, mentioned a tribulation and brought it near and magnified it. Then a man passed by, his face covered in a wrap. He said, "This one, on that day, will be upon the truth." So I went quickly - or he said, hastening - and took hold of his upper arms and said, "Is this him, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "This is him," and behold, it was Uthman ibn Affan, may Allah be pleased with him.
