English Translation
It was narrated to us by Abu al-Mughirah, it was narrated to us by Ayyash ibn Ayyash - that is, Isma'il - it was narrated to me by Yahya - that is, Ibn Abi Amr al-Shaybani - from Abdullah ibn al-Daylami, from his father Fayruz, who said: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah, we are people of grapes and vineyards, and the prohibition of wine has now come down - what shall we do with them?" He said: "Make them into raisins." I said, "And what shall we do with the raisins?" He said: "Soak them in the morning and drink them in the evening, and soak them in the evening and drink them in the morning." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, we are those whom you know, and we dwell among those whom you know, so who is our guardian?" He said: "Allah and His Messenger." I said, "That is enough for me, O Messenger of Allah."
