حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ مِينَاءَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي فَضَالَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ وَكَانَ مِنْ الصَّحَابَةِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِذَا جَمَعَ اللَّهُ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَالْآخِرِينَ لِيَوْمٍ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ نَادَى مُنَادٍ مَنْ كَانَ أَشْرَكَ فِي عَمَلٍ عَمِلَهُ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَحَدًا فَلْيَطْلُبْ ثَوَابَهُ مِنْ عِنْدِ غَيْرِ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ أَغْنَى الشُّرَكَاءِ عَنْ الشِّرْكِ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us: Abd al-Hamid — namely Ibn Ja'far — informed us, saying: My father informed me, from Ziyad ibn Mina', from Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Fadalah al-Ansari, who was one of the Companions, that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'When Allah gathers the first and the last on a Day about which there is no doubt, a caller will call out: "Whoever associated a partner with anyone in a deed he did for Allah, Mighty and Sublime, let him seek its reward from other than Allah, for Allah is the least in need of any partner from among the partners ascribed to Him."'
