حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَن قَتَادَةَ عَنْ رَجَاءِ بْنِ حَيْوَةَ عَنْ قَبِيصَةَ بْنِ ذُؤَيْبٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ قَالَ لَا تَلْبِسُوا عَلَيْنَا سُنَّةَ نَبِيِّنَا عِدَّةُ أُمِّ الْوَلَدِ إِذَا تُوُفِّيَ عَنْهَا سَيِّدُهَا أَرْبَعَةُ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا.
English Translation
Yazid b. Harun told us, he said: Sa'id informed us, from Qatada, from Raja' b. Haywah, from Qabisa b. Dhu'ayb, from 'Amr b. al-'As, who said: "Do not confuse for us the Sunnah of our Prophet: the waiting period of a slave-mother, when her master dies, is four months and ten days."
