English Translation
And I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "There are two men from my community: one of them rises at night, striving to prepare himself for purification while his knots are still upon him, so he performs ablution; when he washes his hands a knot is loosened, when he washes his face a knot is loosened, when he wipes over his head a knot is loosened, and when he washes his feet a knot is loosened. Then Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says to those behind the veil: 'Look at this servant of Mine, striving with himself, asking Me for what he asks of Me — it is his.'"
