حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْخَطْمِيُّ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ قَالَ بَيْنَا نَحْنُ مَعَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ فِي حَجٍّ أَوْ عُمْرَةٍ فَقَالَ بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي هَذَا الشِّعْبِ إِذْ قَالَ انْظُرُوا هَلْ تَرَوْنَ شَيْئًا فَقُلْنَا نَرَى غِرْبَانًا فِيهَا غُرَابٌ أَعْصَمُ أَحْمَرُ الْمِنْقَارِ وَالرِّجْلَيْنِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ النِّسَاءِ إِلَّا مَنْ كَانَ مِنْهُنَّ مِثْلَ هَذَا الْغُرَابِ فِي الْغِرْبَانِ.
English Translation
Abd al-Samad told us, Hammad told us, he said: Abu Ja'far al-Khatmi told us, from Umarah ibn Khuzaymah, who said: While we were with Amr ibn al-As on a pilgrimage or an umrah, he said: While we were with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in this mountain pass, he said, "Look, do you see anything?" We said, "We see crows, among them a white-footed crow with a red beak and legs." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "None of the women will enter Paradise except one who is among them like this crow among the [other] crows."
