English Translation

Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, Shu'bah told us, from Yazid ibn Khumayr, from Abdullah ibn Busr, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, stayed with my father. He said: We brought him food and watbah, and he ate from it. Then he was brought dates, and he ate them, throwing away the pits with his two fingers, joining the index and middle fingers; Shu'bah said: this is my recollection, and it is, Allah willing, correct. Then he was brought a drink and he drank it, then he handed it to the one on his right. My father then took hold of the bridle of his mount and said: 'Pray to Allah for us.' He said: 'O Allah, bless them in what You have provided them, forgive them, and have mercy on them.' Rawh told us, Shu'bah told us, from Yazid ibn Khumayr, who said: I heard Abdullah ibn Busr narrate from his father that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, visited them, and he mentioned the same meaning as the hadith of Ibn Ja'far.
