حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ الْحَكَمِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَيّاشٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْيَحْصَبِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ الْمَازِنِيِّ صَاحِبِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَتَى بَيْتَ قَوْمٍ أَتَاهُ مِمَّا يَلِي جِدَارَهُ وَلَا يَأْتِيهِ مُسْتَقْبِلًا بَابَهُ.
English Translation
Al-Hakam ibn Musa told us, Abdullah said: and I also heard it from al-Hakam, Isma'il, that is Ibn Ayyash, told us, who said: Muhammad ibn Abdur-Rahman al-Yahsabi told us, from Abdullah ibn Busr al-Mazini, a companion of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came to the house of a people, he would approach it from the side of its wall, and would not come facing its door directly.
