حَدَّثَنَا مَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَزِيدَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الْمَلِكِ الزَّرَّادَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ النَّزَّالَ بْنَ سَبْرَةَ صَاحِبَ عَلِيٍّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ سُرَاقَةَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ دَخَلَتْ الْعُمْرَةُ فِي الْحَجِّ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ وَقَرَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ.
English Translation
Makki ibn Ibrahim told us, Dawud — that is, ibn Yazid — told us, who said: I heard Abd al-Malik al-Zarrad say: I heard al-Nazzal ibn Sabrah, the companion of Ali, say: I heard Suraqah say: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, "The 'Umrah has entered into the Hajj until the Day of Resurrection." He said: and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, combined Hajj and 'Umrah in the Farewell Pilgrimage.
