English Translation
Yunus ibn Muhammad told us, Aban - that is, ibn Yazid al-'Attar - told us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Abu Ibrahim, a shaykh from the Ansar, from his father, that the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when he prayed over a funeral, would say: 'O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, our young and our old, our males and our females, those of us who are present and those who are absent.'
