حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ وَيَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ حُبْشِيِّ بْنِ جُنَادَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ سَأَلَ مِنْ غَيْرِ فَقْرٍ فَكَأَنَّمَا يَأْكُلُ الْجَمْرَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ حُبْشِيِّ بْنِ جُنَادَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ سَأَلَ مِنْ غَيْرِ فَقْرٍ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ.
English Translation
Yahya ibn Adam and Yahya ibn Abi Bukayr told us, they said: Isra'il told us, from Abu Ishaq, from Hubshi ibn Junadah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever begs without need is as though he eats live coals. Abu Ahmad al-Zubayri told us: Isra'il told us, from Abu Ishaq, from Hubshi ibn Junadah, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Whoever begs without need - and he mentioned the like of it.
