English Translation
Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, Sa'id told us, from Qatadah, from Mutarrif, from Iyad ibn Himar, who said: I said, O Messenger of Allah, a man of my people curses me though he is beneath me — is there any blame on me if I retaliate against him? He said: The two who curse each other are two devils who slander and lie against one another.
