Ali ibn Ishaq told us, Abd Allah ibn Lahi'ah told us, Bakr ibn Sawadah told me, that a man told him, from Rabi'ah ibn Qays, who told him that he heard Uqbah ibn Amir al-Juhani say: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Whoever performs ablution and does it well, then prays a prayer without heedlessness or distraction, what preceded it of anything is expiated for him.
