English Translation
Hasan told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, Abu Ushanah told us, that he heard Uqbah ibn Amir narrating from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: When a man purifies himself and then goes to the mosque watching for the prayer, his two recording angels — or his recording angel — write for him ten good deeds for every step he takes toward the mosque; and one who sits watching for the prayer is like one standing devoutly in prayer, and he is recorded among those praying from the moment he leaves his house until he returns to it.
