حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ مِشْرَحِ بْنِ هَاعَانَ الْمَعَافِرِيِّ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَوْ كَانَ الْقُرْآنُ فِي إِهَابٍ مَا مَسَّتْهُ النَّارُ.
English Translation
Hajjaj told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, from Mishrah ibn Ha'an al-Ma'afiri, from Uqbah ibn Amir, who said: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: If the Qur'an were in a skin, the fire would not touch it.
