English Translation
Abu Abd al-Rahman told us, Haywah and Ibn Lahi'ah told us, they said: We heard Yazid ibn Abi Habib say: Abu Imran told me that he heard Uqbah ibn Amir say: I clung to the foot of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: O Messenger of Allah, teach me Surah Hud and Surah Yusuf. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to me: O Uqbah ibn Amir, you have not recited any surah more beloved to Allah, Mighty and Majestic, nor more far-reaching with Him, than 'Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak.' Yazid said: Abu Imran never left it, and he continued to recite it in the Maghrib prayer.
