حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَاصِمُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الْعَامِلُ بِالْحَقِّ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ كَالْغَازِي فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ إِلَى بَيْتِهِ.
English Translation
Ya'qub narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to us from Ibn Ishaq, he said: 'Asim ibn 'Umar ibn Qatadah al-Ansari narrated to me, from Mahmud ibn Labid, from Rafi' ibn Khadij al-Ansari, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, "The one who works justly collecting the zakat is like the one who fights in the way of Allah, until he returns home."
