حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ غَيْلَانَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ حَدَّثَنِي عَيَّاشُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْحُصَيْنِ الْهَيْثَمِ بْنِ شُفَيٍّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ خَرَجْتُ أَنَا وَصَاحِبٌ لِي يُسَمَّى أَبَا عَامِرٍ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْمَعَافِرِ لِيُصَلِّيَ بِإِيلِيَاءَ وَكَانَ قَاصُّهُمْ رَجُلًا مِنْ الْأَزْدِ يُقَالُ لَهُ أَبُو رَيْحَانَةَ مِنْ الصَّحَابَةِ قَالَ أَبُو الْحُصَيْنِ فَسَبَقَنِي صَاحِبِي إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ ثُمَّ أَدْرَكْتُهُ فَجَلَسْتُ إِلَى جَنْبِهِ فَسَأَلَنِي هَلْ أَدْرَكْتَ قَصَصَ أَبِي رَيْحَانَةَ فَقُلْتُ لَا فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ عَشْرَةٍ عَنْ الْوَشْرِ وَالْوَشْمِ وَالنَّتْفِ وَعَنْ مُكَامَعَةِ الرَّجُلِ الرَّجُلَ بِغَيْرِ شِعَارٍ وَعَنْ مُكَامَعَةِ الْمَرْأَةِ الْمَرْأَةَ بِغَيْرِ شِعَارٍ وَأَنْ يَجْعَلَ الرَّجُلُ فِي أَسْفَلِ ثِيَابِهِ حَرِيرًا مِثْلَ الْأَعْلَامِ وَأَنْ يَجْعَلَ عَلَى مَنْكِبَيْهِ مِثْلَ الْأَعَاجِمِ وَعَنْ النُّهْبَى وَرُكُوبِ النُّمُورِ وَلَبُوسِ الْخَاتَمِ إِلَّا لِذِي سُلْطَانٍ.
English Translation
Yahya b. Ghaylan narrated to us: al-Mufaddal b. Fadala narrated to us: Ayyash b. Abbas narrated to me, from Abu al-Husayn al-Haytham b. Shufayy, that he heard him say: "I went out, I and a companion of mine called Abu Amir, a man from al-Ma'afir, to pray at Iliya' (Jerusalem). Their preacher there was a man from al-Azd called Abu Rayhana, one of the Companions." Abu al-Husayn said: "My companion reached the mosque before me; then I caught up with him and sat beside him. He asked me: 'Did you catch Abu Rayhana's sermon?' I said: 'No.' He said: 'I heard him say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade ten things: filing the teeth, tattooing, plucking hair, a man sharing a bed with another man skin to skin without a cover, a woman sharing a bed with another woman skin to skin without a cover, a man putting silk like banners at the bottom of his garments, and putting it on his shoulders like the foreigners do, and plunder, and riding on tiger skins, and wearing a signet ring, except for one in authority.'"
